Introducing The Student Cafe Chair

If you cast your mind back to your school days then you might recall that you sat behind your desk in the classroom on a very basic chair which consisted of a plastic back and seat with tubular steel splayed legs. While not the best looking chair in the world, they worked in school because they were lightweight and when the school day ended they could easily be stacked on top of one another.

We thought we’d use this blog post to introduce you to our latest arrival, the Student Chair. Not just for students, it works well within the cafe environment too. Boasting clean, sharp lines, it features an attractive timber back and seat with a waterfall edge to protect the thighs. The frame work is made from powder coated tubular steel with rubber stops on the legs to prevent slippage and comes in attractive shades of blue or yellow, as well as the more traditional black or white.

So how could you utilise this simplistic chair into your cafe venue?

Industrial theme

Well right away, we can see it working well in an industrial setting. It’s got all the right components – metal and wood – and with its minimalistic lines it will blend in well with the exposed beams, open brickwork, and steel pipes that should be on view. Black or white would work well in a monochrome setting, or to avoid your industrial theme looking a little dark or dingy, then the blue or yellow framed chairs could act as a lively accent colour.

Communal dining

If you’re embracing the trend of communal dining then these fine looking chairs would fit in nicely with timber trestle tables. Imagine how funky they would look placed along long tables in alternating colours.

Country cafe

Finally, how about a country cafe theme where there is plenty of wood on display from your serving hatch to your counters to your tables. The yellow frames chairs would work wonderfully well to bring an injection of colour on a dull day so that it would feel as if the sun was shining.

It’s also easy to maintain, needing little more than a wipe with a damp cloth and a quick buff with a dry cloth.
